WhatFour Productions is a company working with a strong ensemble of actors, directors and playwrights to create theatrical experiences with punch.

It is our goal to find the fun and experimental nature of theatre in this and all of our future productions.

In December of 2007, WhatFour presented its inaugural production of Terrible Twos: The Hope Plays at the Producer's Club in New York City.  This showcase featured two original one-act plays entitled "The Rubout" and "Grosso is in Jail" by the company's Literary Manager, prize winning playwright Meny Beriro.

Both pieces were directed by the company's Artistic Director, Michael Bordwell and featured outstanding performances by Andrew Carter, Alan Hasnas and Amanda LaPergola.

This was followed up Terrible Twos: The Hope Plays with a staged reading at the distinguished Dramatists Guild, in New York, of our new piece Pigeonhole.

Directed by Michael Bordwell, it featured performances from Mark Jay Adamsbaum, Irene Antoniazzi, Jordan Auslander, Danielle Bensky, M. Alan Haley, Kitty Hendrix, Christopher L. McAllister, I, Barbara Mundy, Cindy Owens, Elisabeta Petrisor and Phil Vos.

Next, WhatFour is excited to mount its first full production of Change: The Plays, a series of five one act plays by Meny featuring a wonderfully talented cast of nineteen.  The plays will be directed by Michael and a new director to the company, John DeBenedetto.  The plays will premiere at the American Theatre of Actors - Beckmann Theatre from May 6-May 10, 2009.
